Independent Legal Advice
Spousal and Separation Agreements can be prepared by one lawyer with one party to the agreement signing with that lawyer. The other party should have a different lawyer review the agreement before signing it. This important step ensures that both parties are informed of their rights before they sign. For agreements that we did not prepare, we can provide independent legal advice and witness the signing of one party.
